ARMA representatives join GlobE Network Induction Session

14-07-2025

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) took part in the induction session of the GlobE Network — an international platform for the operational cooperation of law enforcement agencies in combating corruption.

ARMA was represented in the online meeting by Anna Makarenko, Head of the Department of Finding, Tracing and Recovery of Assets in Foreign Jurisdictions, and Maksym Pasik, Head of the Department for Finding and Tracing of Assets of sanctioned persons and other entities that pose a threat to the national interest of Ukraine.

“We see participation in the GlobE Network as another important tool that will help ARMA strengthen international cooperation, accelerate information exchange, and enhance the recovery of assets illegally transferred abroad,” said Anna Makarenko.

During the session, participants discussed new GlobE Network tools, including:

  • An integrated directory of participating agencies — enabling direct contact between specialists from different jurisdictions;
  • A compiled list of open registries — for searching public information on assets and companies worldwide.

The GlobE Network was established based on the United Nations Convention against Corruption and is aimed at strengthening cross-border cooperation, supporting criminal prosecution, and facilitating the return of illicit assets.

ARMA reaffirms its readiness to actively participate in the GlobE Network and continue advancing international cooperation.
