ARMA has approved the membership of the Civil Oversight Council under ARMA, formed on the basis of the results of open online rating voting.
The Council comprises:
1. Yevhen Linnyk — NGO «D7 Foundation»;
2. Oksana Ihnatenko — NGO «Civil Oversight Center»;
3. Tetiana Yatsyk — NGO «Ukrainian Law Association»;
4. Serhii Verenchuk — NGO «Civil Oversight Center»;
5. Mykola Malukha — NGO «Civil Oversight Center»;
6. Andrii Tkachuk — NGO «Transparency International Ukraine»;
7. Alona Shokarieva — NGO «Ukrainian Law Association»;
8. Olena Reznikova — NGO «Ukrainian Law Association»;
9. Tetiana Nesterenko — NGO «Revival of Ukraine Democracy Development Fund».
The Civil Oversight Council under ARMA is an advisory body operating under ARMA and one of the mechanisms provided for by law to ensure civil oversight and the Agency’s engagement with civil society.
The main powers of the Civil Oversight Council under ARMA are:
• exercising public oversight of ARMA’s activities;
• monitoring the Agency’s exercise of its powers and reviewing its annual report;
• reviewing draft ARMA regulations and submitting proposals;
• overseeing the legality and transparency of the selection of asset managers;
• overseeing the legality and transparency of asset sales and the effectiveness of their management;
• participation of Council representatives in ARMA’s competition and disciplinary commissions.
