Real transformation of the ARMA vs. profanation in the draft law No. 12374-d: The National Agency Invites to Discussion

11-04-2025

Much has been written about the results of ARMA 2.0, both in the news and in official reports. At the same time, the Parliament continues to consider draft law No. 12374-d, which, instead of consolidating successful reforms, poses threats to Ukraine's anti-corruption system and European integration processes.

Draft law No. 12374-d has gained a lot of publicity and even political color. It was used to lobby for functions that are not typical for the ARMA, which also threaten other anti-corruption agencies and the anti-corruption system as a whole.

On Monday, April 14, ARMA will hold a public discussion, which will bring together MPs, representatives of the public sector, media and government agencies.

What will be discussed?

▪️ ARMA's transformation and achievements in recent years

▪️ Threats posed by the draft law No. 12374-d

▪️ Why the government's draft law No. 12374 is better suited to Ukraine's European integration commitments

▪️ What actions are needed to preserve and strengthen the effectiveness of ARMA

We invite media representatives, civil society organizations, experts and all interested parties to join the discussion on the future of one of Ukraine's key anti-corruption agencies.

When: Monday, April 14, 2025

Location: Ukrinform, the event will also be broadcast online

Media accreditation by 10:00 on April 14, 2025 in the form
