A conversation about values: Head of ARMA at the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

14-05-2025

For the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency, every meeting with young people is more than just a dialogue — it is an investment in the future. This message was emphasized by ARMA Head Olena Duma during her meeting with students of the Kyiv University of Law at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

This day was special — not only because it brought together the leadership of a leading law school and the ARMA team, but it also reaffirmed a simple truth: there is strength in unity. Ukraine is capable of overcoming both corruption and external enemy. But doing so requires more than just fighting — it requires building: strong institutions, a robust rule-of-law-based state, and a resilient young generation.

The Head of ARMA shared with future lawyers the Agency’s practical experience — as an institution that has already proven its effectiveness on the economic frontline. The discussion focused on key cases involving the management of seized assets, legislative initiatives, and how ARMA’s work directly contributes to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and boosting state budget revenues.

"We believe in the power of law — and in the power of youth. ARMA is staffed by motivated professionals guided by integrity and the rule of law. That is why we welcome young specialists — those who will help lay the foundation of a renewed Ukraine."

For his part, the Rector of the University, Yuriy Boshytsky, presented the institution’s updated infrastructure and outlined the University’s approach to student training. He emphasized that a modern university — grounded in science, culture, and a commitment to state-building — provides the environment where the country’s future human resources are being trained.

Investing in the development of education is not a duty, but a mission that the University's leadership fulfills with inspiration and love. And this, according to Olena Duma, is felt in everything - from the atmosphere in the classrooms to the scale of the vision.

“You study at a bright, inspiring institution infused with care and purpose. This university has become a place of opportunity for students from across Ukraine who seek not only education and knowledge but, above all, values,” said Olena Duma.
