ARMA's priorities include effective management of seized assets

17-04-2024

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) continues to actively expand its deposit portfolio with seized assets.

Today, on April 17, cash in the amount of USD 248 thousand, EUR 14 thousand and UAH 306 thousand seized from the head of a municipal medical institution in Luhansk region was added to it. The total amount of cash accepted for management in the hryvnia equivalent is over UAH 10.7 million.

"Effective management of seized assets and increasing budget revenues is a priority for ARMA," said Dmytro Nikitin, Head of the Sector for Cash and Precious Metals Management of the National Agency.

Due to the work of ARMA's central office and territorial departments, the deposit portfolio has been replenished by more than UAH 80 million since March of this year alone.

"This example demonstrates how ARMA can preserve seized assets and increase their economic value," added Dmytro Nikitin.
