How much money the State Budget of Ukraine will receive from the administration depends on the process of selecting an appraiser of seized assets. That is why the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) is constantly working on expanding the possibilities of making this procedure even more transparent. This was announced by Deputy Head of ARMA Stanislav Petrov during the all-Ukrainian round table "Evaluation of assets and their role in the country's economy", which took place online today, August 13.
The event was also attended by heads of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, the Audit Chamber of Ukraine, the Notary Chamber of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Association of Ukrainian Appraisers and representatives of top Ukrainian appraisal companies.
During the round table, the participants discussed the issues of asset valuation, the value of valuation for business compensation, determining the book and market value of assets and asset valuation standards in the EU.
At the suggestion of representatives of Ukrainian companies conducting independent valuation of assets, ARMA supported the idea of further communication and holding additional working meetings on improving the process of valuation of seized property.
"The National Agency is ready to improve the procedure for selecting evaluators in order to make it even more open and transparent. We already have developments that are ready to be discussed in an expert environment to take into account all amendments and proposals", Stanislav Petrov noted.
