The National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets (ARMA) reports that the seizure of the vessel Nika Spirit, which was previously transferred to ARMA’s management within a criminal proceeding, has been lifted.
The seizure was lifted following the completion of the vessel’s sale through an open auction on the Prozorro.Sale platform. As a reminder, based on the results of competitive bidding, the asset, initially valued at UAH 2.4 million, was sold for UAH 6.4 million. The new owner is a Ukrainian company that purchased the vessel through a legal and transparent public sale procedure.
The court thus recognized that the asset no longer had a connection to the criminal proceedings and had acquired a new legal status — commercial property, lawfully obtained through open bidding.
This is yet another example of how seized assets are not merely preserved but transformed into real resources for the Ukrainian economy.
