On the Constitution Day of Ukraine, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) celebrates its role in implementing the constitutional principles of protection of state interests and information security.
Article 32 of the Constitution of Ukraine protects confidential information about a person, ARMA specialists protect data about assets and their owners, daily balancing transparency and protection of personal data. Article 34 of the Constitution speaks of the possibility of limiting the dissemination of information in the interests of national security. ARMA embodies this principle by collecting critical asset data, but disclosing it only when it serves the highest interests of Ukraine.
On the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, the Head of ARMA Olena Duma awarded the Agency's employees with departmental awards for conscientious performance of official duties and special merits in the case related to ensuring the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of detection, search and management of assets obtained from corrupt individuals and other crimes. During the award ceremony, in an online format, representatives of ARMA territorial offices were also present.
In her address to the employees, Olena Duma emphasized: "ARMA values each of its employees, because your dedication and professionalism is our greatest strength. Step by step, day by day, we together create a solid foundation for the future of our country. And this is only the beginning of our journey. May the Constitution of Ukraine always be our guide, and our joint work brings closer the day when each of its articles will become a reality for every ukrainian."
ARMA continues its mission, guided by the spirit and letter of the Constitution, ensuring that every asset serves the interests of the Ukrainian people and that every piece of information is protected with the same care with which we protect the Constitution itself.
