On 7 April, the inaugural meeting of the Commission for the Selection of Manager of Complex Assets took place, during which its leadership was elected.
Anka Feldhusen, the Business Ombudsman of Ukraine, was elected Chair of the Commission, which strengthens the independence and trust in the manager selection process. Valerii Saienko, Head of the Asset Management Department of ARMA, was appointed as the Deputy Chair of the Commission.
During the meeting, the members of the Commission considered organizational matters, agreed on basic approaches to work and decision-making, and also agreed to prepare the rules of procedure.
The Commission is a permanent collegial body established by ARMA to assess participants in the procedure for selecting managers of complex assets for compliance with qualification requirements.
The launch of the Commission is taking place as part of the ARMA reform, which envisages the division of assets into simple and complex categories and the introduction of a new procedure for selecting managers of complex assets. It is expected that this will ensure transparency, competition, and increased efficiency in the management of seized assets.
We recall that on 18 March 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the composition of the Commission for the Selection of Managers of Complex Assets.
