Within the framework of the XIV International Judicial and Legal Forum, ActingHead of ARMA Yaroslava Maksymenko gave an open interview, during which she spoke about the key areas of ARMA’s activities and the results of the reform implementation.
During the conversation, the impact of the reform on the processes of finding, tracingand management of assets obtained through criminal means was discussed. Particul arattention was paid to the transparency of procedures and the establishment of clearrules as a necessary condition for effective anti-corruption efforts.
The discussion also covered the record volume of assets under ARMA management, their status and their effective use for the benefit of the state.
During the interview, Yaroslava Maksymenko explained the stages of working withseized assets — from finding and valuation to transfer for management — andoutlined ARMA’s approaches to managing new types of assets, including cryptocurrency.
Separately, emphasis was placed on ARMA’s role in establishing effective cooperation between the state, business, law enforcement agencies and asset owners, which is an important precondition for ensuring proper management of seized assetsand preserving their economic value.
