Based on ARMA's proposal, the Government approved compulsory seizure of Odesa Oil Refinery in the interests of the state

It was announced today, June 7, by Deputy Head of ARMA Pavlo Velykorechanin.

‘Today, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the proposal of the National Agency to compulsorily seize PJSC Odesa Oil Refinery in the interests of the State,’ said the Deputy Head of ARMA.

According to Pavlo Velykorechanin, this decision allow to compulsorily seize the property of the russian federation and its residents, which concerns corporate rights in the amount of 99.5766% of the shares of this plant and its debt obligations to residents of the russian federation, as well as 100% of the authorised capital of LLC ‘Energy and Gas Ukraine’.

Earlier, on the instructions of the President of Ukraine, the Government and the Asset Recovery and Management Agency developed a roadmap for the further development and use of the facilities of the seized PJSC ‘Odesa Oil Refinery’, which had been owned by a pro-russian businessman before it was seized.
