On February 20-21, a conference on “Fundamental Human Rights in Law Enforcement” was held at Europol Headquarters in The Hague. Ukraine was represented at the event by Stanislav Petrov, Deputy Head of the ARMA on Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization.
During the conference, leading experts from EU law enforcement agencies and government agencies discussed topical issues of human rights protection in the current environment. The key topics included human rights observance in the work of law enforcement, the use of the latest technologies, prevention of violations through digital tools, and countering polarization in society.
Stanislav Petrov presented ARMA's experience in database protection and cybersecurity to the conference participants. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of implementing modern digital solutions to protect confidential information and prevent unauthorized access to data.
“Database protection and information security are integral components of ARMA's digital transformation. We have opened the Register of Seized Assets, which already contains more than 375 thousand records. In addition, a unified system of information exchange between ARMA and law enforcement agencies has been developed. We are digitizing all processes to the maximum extent possible to ensure transparency and transparency,” said Stanislav Petrov.
Participation in the Europol international conference contributes not only to strengthening ARMA's cooperation with European partners in the field of digital asset management, but also to improving cybersecurity in accordance with EU standards.
In the light of our realities, ARMA is doing a great job to find and return assets to Ukraine.
