Following the meeting of the Commission for Conducting the Independent ExternalEvaluation of the Effectiveness of ARMA, Criteria and Methodology for Conductingthe Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the institution were officially approved.

This document was approved in accordance with Article 12 of the Law of Ukraine“On the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of AssetsDerived from Corruption and Other Crimes.”

The approved Criteria and Methodology define the key principles for assessing theeffectiveness of the Agency’s performance of its functions and tasks, as well asoutline the methodological approach for determining whether the Head of ARMA hasproperly or improperly fulfilled official duties.

It is worth noting that the evaluation will cover the period from January 1, 2023, toMay 31, 2026. Prior to the adoption of the Methodology, members of theCommission held a series of meetings with ARMA specialists, representatives ofstate authorities, international experts and civil society activists.

To ensure the objectivity and comprehensiveness of the process, the Commissioninvites interested stakeholders and members of the public to submit proposals andcomments regarding ARMA’s activities to the official email address: office@arma-audit.org.ua.

At the same time, the Commission emphasizes that its mandate is limited to assessingARMA’s overall institutional effectiveness and does not include the review ofindividual cases, investigation of specific matters or taking measures to holdindividuals accountable.
