The Asset Recovery and Management Agency has moved to the next stage of the saleof seized land plots in the Zakarpattia region.
As part of this stage, ARMA has addressed the organizer of the electronic auctionswith a request to conduct a repeated auction. The organizer has already been sent therelevant notification, along with clarifications regarding the formation of the startingprice and the further algorithm of actions.
The next step should be the proper pre-sale preparation of the asset and thecompletion of all necessary procedures to ensure its sale under competitive andtransparent conditions.
ARMA emphasizes that the sale of seized assets must take place exclusively in a manner that guarantees transparency, open competition and maximum economicbenefit for the state.
The Agency acts within its granted powers and ensures the prevention of the disposalof seized assets in cases where there are legal risks or indications of possibleviolations.
Currently, the results of the previous auctions are under judicial review. The claimantis challenging the actions of ARMA and is seeking recognition of the auction resultsand compensation for damages. In this regard, the Agency is prepared to defend itslegal position in accordance with the procedure established by law.
The Agency underlines that protecting the interests of the state is an unconditionalpriority in making any decisions regarding the management of seized assets.
It should also be noted that ARMA continues the implementation of institutionalreform in the field of seized asset management. The main objectives of the reform areto improve sale procedures, increase transparency and ensure real competition inelectronic auctions.
