The tender for the management of the seized assets of a Russian general in Poltava continues. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine supported the decision of the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes to reject one of the participants in the tender for the selection of an administrator, denying the complaint of ZAV-POLTAVA LLC.
Tenders are currently ongoing for the management of 12 lots in Poltava belonging to Russian general Valery Kapashin, with a total value of over UAH 800 million. These include non-residential premises, public buildings and land plots with a total area of over 2,000 square metres.
The Agency rejected ZAV-POLTAVA LLC in 10 tenders after receiving responses from law enforcement agencies regarding the verification of the participant's possible ties to the Russian Federation and to the owner of the assets.
After the AMCU's decision is published in full, ARMA will decide whether to re-announce the tender for the specified asset.
ARMA's principled position: The property of the russian general will not be returned to him, his family or persons associated with them — this is a matter of national security.
Competitions for the management of the russian general's assets in Poltava are continuing. This is yet another example of how resources linked to the enemy are being turned to the benefit of our state through transparent and lawful procedures.
