ARMA, together with other state bodies, is working on the implementation of the Communications Strategy in the field of preventing and countering corruption

25-07-2024

Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) took part in the meeting of representatives of the communication units of the authorities, which are the executors of the Communication Strategy in the field of prevention and counteraction of corruption until 2025 and the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023-2025 (SAP).

The event is aimed at coordinating the efforts of state bodies in the field of anti-corruption communications and exchanging best practices. It united more than 100 communicators from various government agencies. The participants discussed the results of work for the second quarter of 2024 and outlined plans for the next period.

Andriy Pozniak, communications adviser Head of ARMA , who represented the Agency at the meeting, noted: "ARMA is guided by the principle of transparency in its work. We understand the importance of effective, clear and open communication, as the level of trust of citizens depends on this, among other things. The Agency consistently is working on the implementation of SAP measures and the Communications Strategy to ensure maximum transparency of the Agency's activities and contribute to the formation of intolerance to corruption in society."

It is worth reminding that the Communications Strategy was developed as part of the SAP implementation and is aimed at effective information on anti-corruption measures in Ukraine. ARMA continues active work on the implementation of SAP. In particular, at the initiative of the Agency, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine draft Law № 11397 on strengthening the powers of the Public Council under ARMA, which is an important step in the implementation of the state's anti-corruption policy.
