The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) is pleased to announce the successful resolution of the issue of a seized asset belonging to a Turkish company.
On October 30, ARMA held a working meeting on this issue. Later, the Agency, within its competence, urgently appealed to the Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba. The Vice Prime Minister's immediate response resulted in a positive decision.
The arrested vessel was successfully moored in the Reni seaport. This decision ensures both the safety of the seized asset and compliance with the law.
The ARMA expresses its sincere gratitude to all parties involved for their care and protection of citizens, including foreign nationals, whose lives and health were the subject of special attention during the resolution of this issue.
Special thanks go to the representatives of the diplomatic missions of the Republics of Azerbaijan and Turkey for their constructive cooperation and participation in the negotiations. Their contribution was extremely important for reaching a mutually acceptable solution.
This decision is a vivid example of effective interagency cooperation and international cooperation in resolving complex issues related to the management of seized assets. ARMA will continue to work to ensure transparent and effective management of seized assets in compliance with all legal norms and Ukraine's international obligations.
