24-06-2024

Assets recovery and management agency of (ARMA) received another tranche from the manager of corporate rights JSC "Chornomornaftogaz" as the distribution of dividends for 2022 from the income from the management of 26 regional gas companies that belonged to Dmytro Firtash. 77 million hryvnias were transferred to the state budget.

From the beginning of 2024, the total amount of income from the management of these assets amounted to 164 million grn. This is a significant part of the planned 226.75 million grn, which should be transferred to the state budget of Ukraine during the first half of 2024. This is almost 3 times more than the amount of revenues to the state budget from the management of seized assets for the entire year 2023.

Today more than 72% of the planned revenues from JSC "Chornomornaftogaz" for the first half of 2024 have been fulfilled.

"Stable revenues from the management of seized gas distribution assets demonstrate the effectiveness of the chosen strategy and contribute to the strengthening of the energy security of the state," said Head of ARMA Olena Duma. "We continue to work on ensuring the maximum benefit for the state budget and the stable functioning of critical infrastructure facilities, which is extremely important in wartime."

We would like to remind you that according to the decision of the Pechersk court of Kyiv dated May 25, 2022, at the request of the DBR, the corporate rights to 26 regional and city operators of gas distribution systems were transferred to the management of ARMA. After that, the Government supported ARMA's proposal to transfer 26 regional gas companies to the management of Chornomornaftogaz JSC.

In the summer of 2022, ARMA concluded an agreement with "Chornomornaftogaz" on the management of the corporate rights of gas distribution companies known as Firtash Oblgaz.

Later, in October of the same year, at the suggestion of ARMA, an Interdepartmental working group was formed together with the SSU to work with these gas distribution assets. The group received the following tasks: guaranteeing the receipt of necessary information and documents, making resistance impossible and ensuring management efficiency. Particular attention is paid to the issue of redistribution of profits at the end of the year, which is provided for in the management contract. ARMA continues to hold regular meetings within the framework of the Interdepartmental working group.
