Olena Duma, the Head of the ARMA, spoke about the role of the Agency in investigating crimes against the foundations of national security during a scientific and practical conference entitled "War in Ukraine: Lessons Learned and Lessons Unlearned".

The event was held today, February 22, 2024, at the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs with the support of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine and the European Union Advisory Mission.

In her speech, the Head of the ARMA told the participants about the Agency's activities, structure, reforms and prospects. She emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada to improve legislation, as well as work with law enforcement agencies to identify and trace assets for the benefit of the state, especially during the war.

"Today, in times of war, we must be united. The enemy is insidious and attacks our country every day. ARMA actively uses the experience of European countries and partners to find assets in Ukraine and abroad. The Agency cooperates with 88 countries and 54 international institutions, including CARIN, StAR, Interpol and Europol, which allows us to effectively search for the property of criminals or collaborators," said Olena Duma.
