North Macedonia provides Ukraine with significant support during the war. 12 military aid packages since the beginning of russia's large-scale invasion have already been allocated to military assistance to Ukraine.
This was stated by Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of North Macedonia Larysa Dir during a meeting with the Head of ARMA Olena Duma.
The agency informed about its activities at the international level, including bilateral talks with representatives of the Steering Group of the Balkan Asset Management Interagency Network (BAMIN).
As a result of such meetings, it is expected that cooperation will be strengthened and international interagency agreements will be concluded.
Natalia Kostynchuk Head of Division on Cooperation with Asset Recovery Institutions of the International Department of ARMA, provided a detailed presentation of the draft international interagency agreements and the main goals to be achieved in the framework of the implementation of these agreements.
Ambassador Larysa Dir expressed her support for ARMA's initiatives and suggested exploring opportunities for cooperation between the agency and other institutions and government agencies of the Republic, including in the field of identifying and tracing criminal assets located in North Macedonia.
The return of every criminally obtained asset, wherever it is hidden, should be used to restore our country.
