The consequences of aggression, mutual support, post-war recovery and prospects for cooperation between the agencies of Ukraine and Israel were discussed by the Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) Olena Duma and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky during a working meeting.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current issues of bilateral relations. Olena Duma noted: “This meeting is a confirmation that our peoples and countries are together. We share a common pain, but also a common strength to face challenges. Ukrainian citizens staying in Israel always know that they are protected. At the same time, Ukraine values every citizen of Israel and is ready to provide the necessary support.”
The Head of the ARMA informed about the agency's activities and achievements, outlining the possibilities of cooperation within the ARMA's competence. “We are seeking to sign an international agreement with the relevant Israeli agency to strengthen our cooperation. This will allow us to fight international crime and corruption more effectively together,” emphasized Olena Duma.
Discussing the prospects for international cooperation was a key topic of the meeting. Representatives of both sides expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation and exchange best practices in the field of asset management.
ARMA Deputy Head Grigol Katamadze said: “ARMA is intensifying its cooperation with partner countries, in particular with regard to direct contacts between the competent authorities of Israel and ARMA for further cooperation.”
This meeting is an important milestone in the development of relations between Ukraine and Israel, demonstrating readiness for constructive cooperation in the face of common challenges.
