In 2024 alone, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) generated UAH 400.1 million in revenues to the state budget of Ukraine through asset management and sale. In addition, the budget received more than UAH 487 million from monetary asset management, of which UAH 432 million was received from the purchase of War Bonds. For the first time since its establishment, the Agency has actually achieved a positive budget
This was reported by the Head of ARMA during participation in the round table "EU-UA - Urgent Euro-Integration Changes in Approaches to Managing Seized Assets," organized by the publication Legal Practice.
The event gathered representatives of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, leading Ukrainian law firms, and lawyers who discussed the management of seized and confiscated assets.
According to Olena Duma, over the past year ARMA has implemented significant reforms that are already producing tangible results. She emphasized: "The implementation of new procedures for the sale and management of seized property has helped ARMA eliminate the disgraceful practices of previous years. It took almost six months to implement these changes, and now we are already seeing positive results."
These interim results of ARMA's work are a vivid example of how reforms and effective management can enhance a country's economic capacity. ARMA will continue to work on increasing transparency and efficiency in asset management, ensuring stable income for the state budget and supporting Ukraine's economic stability.
