Today, on April 23, was held a meeting of the Commission for competitive selection of legal entities engaged in the sale of Medvedchuk's seized yacht.
The Commission members reviewed the applications of 3 (three) official bidders - well-known global auction houses.
Two applicants competed with each other, as one of the three applicants, Asset Reality Limited (USA), was not admitted to the competitive selection process, which was voted for by all members of the Competition Commission. The grounds for this decision included non-compliance with the procedure stipulated by the Ukrainian Government's Resolution, submission of an incomplete package of documents and violation of the established requirements.
During the competitive selection, it was announced that, as requested by the National Agency, SSU provided the Commission with a letter for each participant, stating that they were not involved in the russian federation, belarus, medvedchuk or persons associated with him.
Members of the Commission evaluated each participant live, giving points based on eight (8) criteria.
As a result of the evaluation, the Dutch auction house Troostwijk Auctions (Netherlands) won the competitive selection, receiving a total score of 164 and an average score of 35.8.
Boathouse Auctions (USA) received a total score of 108 and an average score of 21.6.
As a result, the winner is Troostwijk Auctions.
It is known that this auction house was established in 2015. Company is specialized in the sale of yachts and other equipment. It has a global geographical coverage of 175 countries and 5 representative offices around the world. In particular, in the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Republic of Croatia, which is the best part!
The auction house employs 210 specialists. Troostwijk Auctions annually auctioned about 120 million lots. At the same time, the company's documents confirm that it has transparent auction rules and supervises the legality of auction procedures with a notary.
Troostwijk Auctions' annual revenue is around €1.5 billion.
Within 5 (five) business days, ARMA must receive a Proposal from Troostwijk Auctions to conclude the relevant agreement, draft of which is published by the National Agency in advance.
"This is already a great victory! We believe that now Medvedchuk's yacht will be sold at a transparent auction and will bring significant revenues to the budget of Ukraine!" commented the results of the competitive selection, Head of ARMA Olena Duma.
As a reminder, on March 20, 2024, for the first time in the history of Ukraine and in the practice of ARMA, it was announced that the sale of the seized asset abroad - the yacht of traitor-collaborator Medvedchuk Royal Romance - had begun.
Earlier, Head of ARMA Olena Duma stated that "whoever buys Medvedchuk's yacht will deal a political blow to the putin regime and will be on the pages of world history".
