The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine obliged NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” to supply gas to enterprises that produce heat energy, the property of which was seized in criminal proceedings and transferred into management of ARMA. The relevant Resolution of October 10, 2018, No. 834 "On the imposition of a special duty to ensure the public interest in the process of functioning of the natural gas market" was published on the Government website.

The decision of the Government will ensure the operation of heat energy generation facilities, whose property was seized in criminal proceedings and transferred into management of ARMA.

Let us remind that in July 2018, on the basis of the decisions of the Solomyansky District Court of Kyiv seized integral property complexes “Novorozdolska CHPP” and “Novoyavorivska CHPP” were transferred into management of ARMA to carry out management activities. According to the results of the competition, conducted in accordance with the procedure established by the Law of Ukraine “On Public Procurement”, PE “GARANT ENERGO M” was selected as the manager of these assets, and with which the relevant management contracts were concluded.

Imposition of seizure on the property of these two CHPPs was initiated by detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine within the investigation in criminal proceedings on the fact of appropriation of more than 300 million cubic meters of natural gas of the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”.
