During the round table "EU-UA: european integration changes in approaches to the management of seized assets are ripe", organized by "Legal Practice", an important initiative to create a new platform for the protection of Ukraine's interests was announced. The proposal was made during the speech of the Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), Olena Duma, who spoke about the Ukrainian experience of managing seized assets, as well as about the achievements and problems that ARMA faces.

For example, Rustam Kolesnyk, editor-in-chief of the "Legal Practice" publishing house, proposed to cooperate with ARMA to create a platform that would be involved in the conduct of Ukrainian lawyers on a free basis.

Such interaction will be useful during the development of effective mechanisms, methods, practices and draft legal acts on the implementation of seized and sanctioned assets both in Ukraine and abroad. A vivid example of this is the case of the sale of the Royal Romance yacht, where the National Agency is currently facing enormous opposition from the lawyers of Steptoye LLC, who are trying to do everything to return the illegally acquired property to the traitor of Ukraine - medvedchuk.

It is expected that details regarding the implementation of this initiative and the mechanism of cooperation between lawyers and ARMA will be announced in the near future.
