The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Order for control of the asset management effectiveness. The relevant resolution, prepared by the National Agency, was approved on the session of the Government on May 10, 2018.

The document provides for the mechanism of control for the effectiveness of asset management conducted by the National Agency. The purpose of control is the assessment of the results of asset management and correlation thereof with the expected outcome of such management pursuant to the conditions of the agreement on asset management.

Subject to Article 22 part 1 of the Law of Ukraine on “On the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes” the National Agency shall perform periodic, but at least once per month, check of efficiency of management of seized assets transferred by it under management. A manager shall grant access for duly authorized persons of the National Agency to the assets accepted under management for inspection, as well as to the documents related to management of such assets and use of them.

The Order of the Government shall come into effect on the day of its publication.
