The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has made a purchase of Military Bonds in foreign currency for the amount of 6.5 million EUR. This transaction is a continuation of the successful practice of effective management of seized funds, in particular to support Ukraine's defense.
ARMA's portfolio of military bonds has reached almost 6 billion UAH in equivalent ( 4.2 billion UAH, 31 million USD, 6.5 million EUR).
As a reminder, ARMA initiated legislative changes that allowed the Agency to purchase government bonds using seized foreign currency funds. Subsequently, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine issued a decree authorizing ARMA to purchase military bonds in foreign currency. As part of this order, 31 million USD worth of military bonds have already been purchased. The current transaction for 6.5 million EUR is a continuation of this plan.
At the same time, the National Agency has completed the process of recovering a record 2.6 billion UAH from the accounts of an online casino associated with representatives of the aggressor state, collecting another 442 million UAH. Total amount of recovered funds reached almost 2.6 billion UAH.
