The Asset Recovery and Management Agency of Ukraine (ARMA) has joined the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA), a global platform that brings together anti-corruption bodies from around the world to exchange experience, share best practices, and jointly combat corruption at the international level.
ARMA’s accession to IAACA marks another step toward strengthening Ukraine’s international cooperation in the field of asset tracing, recovery, and return related to corruption offenses.
Currently, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI), and the Ukrainian Association of Prosecutors are represented in IAACA as observers. The association comprises more than 140 countries and regions through organizational (anti-corruption agencies) and individual membership. From now on, Ukraine’s ARMA has been accepted as part of the organization. The official endorsement of ARMA’s new status will take place during the IAACA General Meeting in December this year in Doha, Qatar. Information about ARMA’s membership is already available on the official IAACA website.
ARMA continues to expand its international partnerships to deliver tangible results for the state.
