The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the non-governmental organization “Don’t fund russian army”, which conducts research on the activities of foreign companies operating in the Russian market.
The Memorandum establishes a framework for partnership in several key areas, including:
- improving mechanisms for asset finding and tracing;
- conducting integrity checks of asset managers;
- developing tools for effective asset management;
- monitoring and analyzing sanction-evasion schemes;
- compiling data on companies that continue to cooperate with the russian federation;
- assessing the effectiveness of international sanctions policy.
“It is fundamentally important for us to work together with civil society.
Organizations that systematically monitor business connections with the russian market are valuable partners for ARMA in finding assets that may be used to benefit the aggressor,”
— emphasized Acting Head of ARMA, Yaroslava Maksymenko.
About “Don’t fund Russian army”
The organization’s main goal is to reduce the economic resources of the aggressor state.
“Don’t fund Russian army” finds and exposes foreign companies that remain in the russian market and thereby indirectly support the war against Ukraine.
Its activities aim to increase pressure on the russian economy — by restricting the aggressor’s access to global products and services, and cutting off russian society from the achievements of modern civilization.
