Acting Head of ARMA Yaroslava Maksymenko, together with the Agency’s team, visited the Myrhorod plant, which is part of the IDS Ukraine group. The purpose ofthe visit was to monitor the proper management of the asset, inspect the condition ofthe equipment and assess the potential of the plant’s capacities.
During the inspection, company’s representatives demonstrated the technologicallines, production capacities, water intake system, logistics infrastructure and keyproduction processes.
The plant has a developed production and logistics infrastructure, four productionlines and provides jobs for hundreds of employees, making the asset one of the keyplayers in the bottled water production segment in Ukraine.
«We have already inspected all the key components of the IDS Ukraine group’sassets and are moving to the next stage — announcing the competition for theselection of a manager. ARMA’s task is to ensure the effective functioning of seizedassets, preserve their economic value and secure revenues for the state budget», Yaroslava Maksymenko said.
All further procedures will take place in accordance with the law and the newstandards of transparent management of seized assets. The implementation of thisprocess is part of ARMA’s reform. Its goal is to introduce a transparent, competitiveand economically efficient system for managing seized assets in the interests of thestate.
IDS Ukraine includes well-known bottled water brands, in particular «Myrgorodska»and «Morshynska».
It should be recalled that the corporate rights to this asset belong to Mikhail Fridman, who is under sanctions by Ukraine, the EU and the United States. They are currentlyunder arrest and, by court decision, have been transferred to ARMA for management. The selection of the manager will be carried out through the Prozorro system.
