For the third consecutive year, Ukraine has been ranked among the most active participants of the Camden Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network (CARIN) – an international network that brings together law enforcement and judicial practitioners from different countries to jointly trace and recover assets obtained through criminal activities.
In 2025, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) sent 639 international requests related to tracing assets abroad and received 246 requests from foreign partners through international cooperation channels, including CARIN, EUROPOL and INTERPOL.
These figures are twice as high as the results of the previous year, demonstrating growing trust in Ukraine as a partner in the field of asset recovery.
This year’s CARIN report presents six practical cases of international asset tracing, three of which were implemented with the participation of ARMA. These examples illustrate cooperation that helps identify the location of assets and support ongoing investigations.
Systematic engagement within international networks provides Ukraine with rapid access to information on assets located abroad, strengthens the capacity of law enforcement agencies, and increases the effectiveness of asset tracing and recovery.
