The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) announces competitions to select a managerand appraiser for the seized property of former Yanukovych Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko. The assets include elite estates, land plots, apartments in the center of Kyiv, and parking spaces.
Based on the rulings of the investigating judge of the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv, a significant list of elite real estate was transferred to the ARMA, including:
- Three premium apartments in the center of Kyiv with a total area of over 600 square meters.
- A residential building of 647 square meters on Dobrovolchykh Batalioniv Street in Kyiv
- A luxury estate of almost 1300 sq.m. in the village of Romankiv, Obukhiv district
- 6 parking spaces in prestigious residential complexes of the capital
- 15 land plots with a total area of more than 5 hectares in the Pechersk district of Kyiv and Obukhiv district of Kyiv region
Most of the facilities are located in the most prestigious locations - on Instytutska and Drahomyrova streets in Kyiv's Pechersk district, as well as in a picturesque area on the banks of the Dnipro River within the villages of Romankiv and Pidhirtsi in Obukhiv district.
“ARMA is working to ensure that the property of criminals, including those involved in the Maidan shootings and corruption schemes of the Yanukovych regime, does not stand idle but brings benefits to the state and the Ukrainian people. The transfer of these assets to effective management is a restoration of justice and a concrete economic result for the country,” emphasized the Head of ARMA, Olena Duma.
Anyone, except for representatives of the aggressor state, can take part in the competitions to select the manager and appraiser of this property. After an independent assessment and selection of managers, the assets will work for the benefit of the state, generating revenues for the state budget of Ukraine.
