ARMA is participating in the 11th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (COSP11) in Doha, Qatar.
Acting Head of ARMA Yaroslava Maksymenko is participating in the Conference as part of the Ukrainian delegation led by Viktor Pavlushchyk, Head of NACP.
The event brought together representatives of governments, international organisations and anti-corruption institutions to discuss key challenges in the field of anti-corruption.
The first day of COSP11 was devoted to the implementation of the provisions of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) — the prevention of corruption, the criminalisation of corruption offences and the effective recovery of assets. The EU's approaches, the introduction of technologies in anti-corruption policy and the national practices of European countries were discussed separately.
Meetings were also held between member countries of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA) and the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI), which ARMA joined in 2025. Such formats strengthen international cooperation and the exchange of practices in the field of seized asset management.
"Overcoming corruption is one of Ukraine's important tasks with the support of international partners. Effective anti-corruption measures are the foundation of the rule of law and trust in state institutions. For ARMA, participation in COSP11 is an opportunity to strengthen international cooperation, adopt best practices, particularly in the implementation of technologies, and present Ukraine's experience in managing seized assets in wartime," said Yaroslava Maksymenko.
COSP11 will continue until 19 December. ARMA continues to expand its network of international contacts and promote Ukraine's experience, confirming its commitment to anti-corruption reforms.
