Thanks to coordinated efforts by ARMA’s Southern Interregional Territorial Office and the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor’s Office, the investigative judge of the Kyiv District Court of Odesa issued a ruling to transfer real estate assets to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA). These properties are part of the logistics infrastructure of the region's port complex.
The assets in question can be used to ensure the stable functioning of cargo flows, strengthen the country's food and energy security, and restore logistics chains under the conditions of full-scale war.
Despite the ongoing threat of missile strikes and the naval blockade, the ports of Odesa continue to operate steadily. Since the beginning of 2024, over 46 million tons of cargo have been exported through maritime corridors, including products of the agro-industrial complex.
Given the temporary inaccessibility of the ports in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions, Odesa currently plays a critically important role as the country’s sole operational logistics hub — handling approximately 80% of all cargo traffic.
The assets have already been inspected by experts from ARMA’s Southern Office. The next step will be to conduct an independent valuation. Once the market value is determined, the asset will be published on the Prozorro system for an open competitive selection of a qualified manager.
Stay tuned for updates on open calls!
Information about the selection of asset managers is available on ARMA’s official website under the “Management of Seized Assets” section.
