Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) took part in the international exhibition and conference ISS World Europe, which took place in Prague (Czech Republic). The Agency was represented at the event by the Deputy Head of ARMA (CDTO) -
Stanislav Petrov.
The event provided a platform for a global meeting of European law enforcement, anti-corruption and other government bodies, intelligence analysts, national security and criminal investigators.
For three days, participants of the seminar had the opportunity to get acquainted with current global trends in the sphere of combating crime, in particular, the research of DarkWeb, Bitcoin, Altcoin and Blockchain transactions.
Leading companies from the US, Europe, South Korea, and other countries presented the latest software developments for analysing and visualising large data sets, including information from social networks, virtual asset transactions, and the Dark Net.
“The implementation of such developments can significantly improve ARMA's capabilities in the field of finding and tracing of assets derived from criminal offences”, said Deputy Head of ARMA Stanislav Petrov, - “This will enable law enforcement bodies to take measures aimed at seizing and confiscating such assets in the future”.
The ISS World Europe participants also highlighted the latest innovations in the areas of personal data protection and network infrastructure.
ARMA's participation in ISS World Europe is another step towards strengthening international cooperation in the field of anti-corruption and money laundering.
