The dry cargo ship, built in 2000, has 7 holds, the carrying capacity of which is 73,281 tons deadweight, and the draft is 6.8 meters. The overall length (LOA) is 225 meters, and the width is 32.26 meters.
On the basis of the decision of the investigative judge of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv, this cargo ship was handed over to ARMA for management. Currently, the asset is moored near the berth of the Railway and ferry complex of SE «Commercial sea port of «Chornomorsk» in the Odesa region.
ARMA conducted an inspection of the asset and, based on its results, prepared all the necessary documentation for transferring the asset to the Competition. The National Agency also held an open competition for the selection of an asset appraiser, according to the results of which LLC «Jurformat» won.
The assessment established that the Asset is in satisfactory condition and can be used, in particular, as a floating grain storage facility for transshipment and storage of dry cargo.
"Over the past year, the cost of grain storage has increased significantly, which is associated with an increase in the cost price and an increase in the risk of product storage. Considering the limited capabilities of the Odesa region's port infrastructure for the transshipment of bulk (grain) cargo, this asset may have a high investment interest of market operators," said Deputy Head of ARMA Stanislav Petrov.
He added that the vessel is currently valued by an appraiser at almost 109 million hryvnias.
The next stage of asset management will be the announcement of an open Competition for Prozorro to select the manager of this asset. Everyone will be able to compete for the opportunity to manage the ship. The details of the competition will be published on the ARMA website - arma.gov.ua, so follow our updates.
