The process of transferring assets seized by the court in the criminal proceedings against the fugitive president yanukovych to the management of the Mezhyhirya State Memorial-Park has been completed.

We are talking about movable property that was seized as part of the criminal proceedings against ex-president yanukovych after the Revolution of Dignity, and for the preservation of which activists have become responsible since 2014 by their own consent.

The investigation into the facts of the former president's possession of property located on the territory of the city of Mezhihirya takes place within the framework of criminal proceedings, a pre-trial investigation in which NABU detectives took place under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the SAP.

The signing of the documents on the transfer of state property to the management of the Mezhyhirya State Memorial-Park became a financial measure for the work of the interdepartmental commission, which worked on the territory of the object for two months.

During the work of the commission, consisting of representatives of the special administration of the Mezhyhirya monument park and employees of the Central Interregional Territorial Administration of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), with the participation of representatives of the State Property Fund of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the presence and inspection of seized assets (property) that are located on the territory of Memorial-Park and are part of the infrastructure of the park complex and are used in heat, electricity, water supply and drainage, as well as are part of the interiors of residential buildings and the arrangement of security premises of state institutions. That is, this property, which is located on state lands and ensures the uninterrupted operation of the object of the Nature Reserve Fund of Ukraine - Mezhyhirya Memorial-Park.

The total number of movable property examined by the Commission is more than 25,000 units, which are located in 121 buildings and structures. The largest object in terms of movable property is the "Khonka" museum. This building with a total area of ​​3,100 square meters is the main structure of the park-sight, has 76 rooms and more than 3,600 units of movable property.

Also, in the process of work, the commission identified more than 500 valuable objects of movable property that had not been described before. also, we are talking about works of art, icons, stained-glass windows in churches, bas-reliefs, interior items, chandeliers, etc., as well as objects of management of water supply and heating systems, that is, valuable property, which will also be drawn into the state's income.

From the moment of its official opening, all revenues from the operation of the state "Mezhyhirya" go to the state treasury.

As previously reported, the transfer to the state administration was ensured by the Government's order on the initiative of ARMA and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.

The head of ARMA separately noted the work of the employees of the Central Interregional Administration of ARMA, which over the past two months clearly and structured performed titanic work regarding the transfer of assets into state ownership.
