ARMA sold 8 of Medvedchuk's watches for almost UAH 3.6 million on the first day of the auction

Today, an auction was held on Prozorro.Sale to sell part of the seized watch collection of former MP Viktor Medvedchuk.

In total, 18 participants competed for 8 watches out of the 20 on display.

The first to be sold was a Rolex watch with a starting price of UAH 416,583. It was sold for UAH 550,000 following the auction.

The most expensive lot of these 8 watches was a ‘Patek Philippe’ watch, which was sold for UAH 1,271,503.00.

Overall, the bidding resulted in a sale:

  1. ‘Patek Philippe’ watch - UAH 1,271,503
  2. ‘Parmigiani Fleurier’ watch with the image of ‘Oksana Marchenko’ - UAH 485,000 (UAH 302,629 - starting price)
  3. ‘Dolce & Gabbana’ watch - UAH 233,777 (UAH 219,136 - starting price)
  4. ‘Moscow Kremlin’ watch - 105 678 UAH (17 474 UAH - starting price)
  5. ‘Rolex’ watch - 700 001 UAH (547 328 UAH starting price)
  6. ‘Rolex’ watch - 550 000 UAH (416 583.00 UAH - starting price)
  7. ‘Cartier’ watch - UAH 200 001 (UAH 162 500 - starting price)
  8. ‘State Reserve of Ukraine’ watch - UAH 41,500 (UAH 2,597 - starting price)

The total amount of sales reached almost UAH 3.6 million, which will go to the state budget and will be used to purchase military bonds.

The other 12 watches will also be sold at auction, which will be announced later.

In this way, ARMA will support the Armed Forces of Ukraine by effectively managing the property of a traitor to Ukraine.

Earlier, the National Agency announced a tender for the seller of this asset. Later, the watches were valued at UAH 10.6 million and put up for sale on the Prozorro.Sale electronic platform. On the eve of the auction, ARMA presented a collection of Medvedchuk's expensive watches to potential bidders, and engaged the Bidding Organiser, where potential buyers and experts were able to open and inspect each watch presented for sale.
