The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) took part in the presentation of the new cyber range “SUTE Cyber Range” at the State University of Trade and Economics (SUTE).
The Cyber Range is a unique laboratory that combines advanced software and hardware systems for information security. This innovative platform is aimed at improving the educational process and providing students with the opportunity to apply modern cybersecurity tools in practice. The key areas of research of the cyber training ground are economic cybersecurity, protection of information systems of the financial and banking sectors, as well as ensuring the security of critical industries.
Vitalii Chubaievskyi, Director of the Department for Finding, Tracing and Management of Financial and Other Assets of the ARMA, welcomed the audience: “Today, criminals are increasingly using advanced technologies, and we must be one step ahead. This cyber training ground is not just a training tool - it is a platform for training a new generation of specialists who will be able to effectively identify and trace assets in the digital environment.”
He welcomed all the participants of the event, including representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Bureau of Investigation, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Cyber Police, as well as SUTE faculty and representatives of other higher education institutions and Internet providers.
ARMA's participation in this event is part of the broader cooperation between the agency and SUTE. In September 2024, ARMA and SUTE signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which opens up new opportunities for educational, scientific and innovative development. The Memorandum envisages joint work on the creation of new educational programs in the areas of asset recovery, asset management and anti-corruption.
The presentation of the cyber training ground and ARMA's participation in it is a continuation of the strategy of the Head of ARMA Olena Duma to strengthen cooperation with other government agencies and educational institutions. This initiative demonstrates an integrated approach to addressing current challenges in the field of national security and anti-corruption, combining the efforts of various structures to train highly qualified specialists ready to protect the interests of the state in the digital space.
