ARMA's communications must comply with European standards. Transparency and openness are an integral part of the fight against corruption, which is a key requirement for Ukraine's accession to the EU.
The Asset Recovery and Management Agency's (ARMA) communication communications team has successfully completed a week-long training program at the College of Europe in Natolin, Warsaw, Poland. After completing the program, Acting Head of the Communications Department Yulia Kvitko and Advisor to the Head of ARMA Andrii Poznyak received official certificates from the European educational institution.
During the training, ARMA represented the anti-corruption sector of Ukraine, as the fight against corruption is a key requirement for Ukraine's accession to the EU.
ARMA representatives exchanged experience with press secretaries of the European Parliament, colleagues from other Ukrainian and European government agencies, as well as experts in the field of communications and European integration.
ARMA's participation in this European integration training is an important step in enhancing the National Agency's capacity to effectively communicate its role in the fight against corruption and management of seized assets in the context of Ukraine's approximation to the European Union.
The training was also attended by experts from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, and the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
The training was part of the Natolin4Capacity Building project funded by the European Union.
