17-04-2024

The National Agency received another coupon payment on military bonds in the amount of over UAH 112 million. ARMA is also waiting for the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to approve the purchase of a new package of military bonds worth UAH 1.7 billion. This was announced today, April 17, by the Head of ARMA, Olena Duma.

Head of the National Agency reminded that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is considering draft law No. 10397, which should expand ARMA's ability to purchase military bonds for foreign currency.

"I expect MPs to adopt Draft Law 10397 as soon as possible. This will allow us to significantly expand the possibilities for filling the state budget," said Elena Duma.

According to the results of 2023, the total volume of government bonds "Military bonds" on the ARMA securities account with the depositary institution JSC Ukreximbank amounted to 3,602,934 pieces worth UAH 3.701 billion. Income from them amounted to UAH 195.86 million.

Currently, after redemption, ARMA has 2,378,842 military bonds worth UAH 2.465 billion on its securities account.

As a reminder, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) is the only central executive body in Ukraine authorised to purchase military bonds.
