Preparations for the implementation of the Ukraine Facility Plan: ARMA staff start voluntary certification

16-12-2024

In preparation for the implementation of the Ukraine Facility Plan, the staff of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) took part in a voluntary professional certification for knowledge of special legislation at the Higher School of Public Administration.

The event was opened with the participation of the Head of ARMA Olena Duma and the Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service (NACS) Natalia Aliushyna.

In cooperation with the NACS, the database of test questions was updated and expanded. The questions are divided into three thematic blocks containing 55, 66 and 116 questions respectively. Employees of the National Agency will be testedthroughout the week. To date, the ARMA leadership and more than 40 employees have already taken the test.

“I am especially pleased when ARMA becomes an example for other government agencies. It is important not to stand still, but to constantly develop. Every ARMA employee must be a true professional and an expert in their field. Successful re-certification and confirmation of knowledge by each employee of the National Agency becomes a model for all other central executive authorities, and most importantly, confirms ARMA's readiness to implement the Ukraine Facility Plan,” said Olena Duma, Head of ARMA.

“Due to the martial law in Ukraine, the competitive selection procedure for civil service has been suspended. But despite this, both we and our European partners are interested in attracting the best specialists to the public sector. We supported the initiative of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency to introduce voluntary professional certification for knowledge of special legislation. Test questions were developed on the basis of the Higher School of Public Administration. I am confident that this initiative responds to the public demand for attracting qualified specialists to the civil service,” said Nataliia Aliushyna, Head of the National Agency.

ARMA is grateful to the NAUCS and the Higher School of Public Administration for the opportunity to conduct the certification and to assist in raising the professional level of the agency's employees.
