The National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes and the Ministry of Internal Affairs signed a joint order “On Approval of Procedure for Interaction of National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes and the National Police of Ukraine during Management of Assets Seized in Criminal Proceedings”. The document is sent for state registration to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

The purpose of the joint order is to regulate issues of interagency cooperation between authorities and to create such mechanisms of joint work that will ensure the public security and order at the proper level while executing the decisions on the seizure of assets and determining the procedure for storing the material evidence, which has been seized in a criminal proceeding.

The joint order was developed in accordance with the provisions of Article 100 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, Article 15 of the Law of Ukraine “On the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes” and Articles 2, 5, 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On National police”.
