Employees of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) have made an accounting of unenforced court orders for the recovery of funds. Among other things, the court ruling dated 26.04.2022 on the recovery of funds from the shareholders of the former Alfa-Bank (now Sens Bank JSC) - offshore Cyprus companies.
The National Agency made a request to Sens Bank obtaining information on its account balances and registration numbers of offshore companies whose ultimate beneficiaries are russian citizens Mikhail Fridman and Petro Aven.
Thereafter, ARMA sent payment requests for the bank to transfer funds to the Agency's account in a state-owned bank. These requests were fulfilled on 19 April 2024.
As a result, the National Agency received over USD 18,030,168.44, EUR 92,178.47 and UAH 851,801.08.
Thus, the total amount of funds recovered by ARMA is about UAH 720,000,000 in the hryvnia equivalent, according to the official NBU exchange rate as of 19.04.2024.
The total amount of seized funds under ARMA's management is UAH 7.1 billion.
