Today, a meeting of the Interagency Working Group to coordinate the efforts of all government agencies in the framework of the Asset Recovery Strategy for 2023-2025 was held under the chairmanship of the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko. The issue of including representatives of civil society anti-corruption organizations in the IWG based ontheir requests was considered.
Following the discussion, all members of the interagency working group unanimously supported the inclusion of representatives of Transparency International Ukraine, the Institute of Legislative Ideas and the Legal Partnership of Ukraine. This important decision demonstrates ARMA's commitment to transparency and openness in its activities, as well as its readiness for constructive cooperation with the public.
“This is an important step for the state in the field of asset recovery. The involvement of representatives of civil society organizations will help to increase the efficiency and transparency of the work of the interagency working group,” said ARMA Head Olena Duma.
ARMA reaffirms its openness to cooperation with the public and looks forward to a constructive and fruitful dialogue in the framework of the Asset Recovery Strategy for 2023-2025.
The Interagency Working Group was established to coordinate the efforts of government agencies in the implementation of the Asset Recovery Strategy. It includes representatives of key government agencies, including the NABU, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Justice, the State Financial Monitoring Service, the Bureau of Economic Security and other agencies.
