The Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was adopted today, August 20.

It will be recalled that on June 25, the Higher Anti-Corruption Court canceled the seizure of the shares of the former regional gas companies. The Assets Recovery Agency and Management  appealed to the of the General Prosecutor Office to re-arrest them. According to the result, on June 28, 2024, the Pechersk District Court of the city of Kyiv passed a new decision by which the shares of operators of gas distribution systems, which were part of the sphere of influence of the "Regional Gas Company" of Dmytro Firtash, were re-arrested.

For two years, these seized assets did not bring the state any money. However, since the appointment of Elena Duma as the Head of the National Agency, the work of the agency has been reformatted. Particular attention was focused on increasing efficiency and control in the management of "Firtash oblgas".

By the order of the Head of ARMA No. 227 dated 04.10.2023, an Interdepartmental Working Group was created in the Agency together with the Security Service of Ukraine, which processed thousands of documents, requests and answers, control documents in six months. Their result was that according to the distribution of dividends, almost 800 million UAH should have reached the budget, of which:

For 2022 - 226 million UAH

For 2023 - 564 million UAH.

Thanks to the work of the ARMA team, the budget has already received 172,464,849.12 UAH.

In June 2024, ARMA secured the receipt of another tranche in the amount of 95.6 million UAH to the state budget from the manager of " Oblgaz Firtash" .

As a reminder, this became possible due to the results of ARMA's work and the receipt of letters of guarantee from JSC "Chornomornaftogaz" regarding the payment of dividends from the management of seized assets.
