The Head of the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes Anton Yanchuk held a meeting with companies-members of the European Business Association, during which they discussed issues of cooperation between the National Agency and business.

The head of the National Agency noted that the National Agency is unique in the system of state authorities in Ukraine in terms of the competence, scope of functions and legal status. The National Agency was created "from a blank sheet" as a 100% analogous to asset recov ery and asset management institutions, which are successfully operating in all 28 EU member states.

Performance of the function of the National Agency for the management of seized property also depends on the trust and interest of the business.

"Our uniqueness lies in the fact that on the one hand we are intended to prevent corruption and crime, on the other, we are useful for business. As we establish a new market of services a new market of services - management of seized property, in this regard, we depend on the business, - we need professional managers in all sectors of the economy, including real estate, transport, agriculture. That is why we are set to expand dialogue with representatives of the business community and expect that such meetings will be regular ", - said Anton Yanchuk

Representatives of the banking sector, agrarian business, legal companies and consulting business participated in the meeting.

The National Agency is considering such a meeting as an institutional one and in the near future is set to continue and deepen the initiated cooperation, in particular by holding similar forums in separate EBA committees with the subsequent transformation of them into regular communication.
