ARMA expects the Government's decision regarding the management of the nationalized PJSC "Vinnytsiapobuthim"

31-07-2024

After the court transferred the assets of PJSC "Vinnytsiapobuthim" to the management of ARMA in 2022, the company stopped production. In order to establish effective management of seized property, ARMA announced a competition for the search of a manager. LLC "Crytex-Service" was announced as the winner.

For a long time, the company paid 250,000 UAH from asset management to the state treasury every month. In 2023, the new management of ARMA carried out control measures to check the efficiency of the managers' activities, after which LLC "Crytex-Service" paid 7.5 million hryvnias to the state budget every month, and the quality and efficiency of property management were regularly checked by employees of the special division of ARMA.

Since July 2023, the State Budget of Ukraine received more than 70 million hryvnias from the management of this asset.

Today, the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court regarding the nationalization of PJSC "Vinnytsiapobuthim" entered into legal force. All the company's property, including 100% of shares, bank accounts, industrial facilities, transport and real estate, was transferred to the state.

At the same time, 5-6 months will pass before the State Property Fund of Ukraine conducts an online auction for the sale of a nationalized company in accordance with all legal procedures. During this time, as a result of idle production, the state budget does not receive millions of hryvnias, which are so necessary for the country in times of war. According to approximate estimates, losses during this period will amount to 40-50 million hryvnias, and the company's workers will lose their jobs.

In order to continue ensuring budget revenues from asset management until the moment of their realization, ARMA appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a corresponding request to designate ARMA as a subject of enterprise management in accordance with Article 5-1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Sanctions".

We are currently waiting for the Government's decision on this issue. We are convinced that, acting together, ARMA and SPFU will provide steady income to the state budget, without interrupting the process of effective production management and saving jobs in wartime.
