The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has inspected the production facilities of the key logistics complex in Zakarpattia region – LLC "Terminal Karpaty". This is an important logistics complex in Zakarpattia region, which opens up wide opportunities for international transportation.
Based on the results of the inspection, ARMA's Western MDT found that the Terminal Karpaty complex includes several key infrastructure facilities:
- Administrative building in Chop;
- A production complex in Batyovo, which includes a hangar, pumping station, reservoir, transformer room and other buildings;
- Office building in Svoboda village.
The main facility is a covered hangar for transshipment of goods transported in covered rolling stock with a total area of 21,504 square meters with European (1435 mm) and post-Soviet (1520 mm) gauge tracks. This infrastructure ensures uninterrupted transshipment between different types of rail trains, as well as between rail and road transport.
Volodymyr Murzha, Head of ARMA's Western MTU, said: “On behalf of the Head of ARMA, we conducted a detailed inspection of this strategic asset. This complex is a fully ready infrastructure for large-scale development of the transport and logistics business, opening new horizons for Ukrainian exports and imports.”
ARMA will keep you informed of further steps to manage this asset. Such powerful logistics hubs should work as efficiently as possible for the benefit of Ukraine.
