The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has signed an agreement with representatives of LLC «FINANSOVO-PROMYSLOVA KOMPANIYA «RESURS·HRUP» for the management of 434 railcars that were previously seized and used by "Ukrzaliznytsia". According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the railcars were not used for their intended purpose in 2023.
The railcars require technical inspection, repair and certification for their operation and intended use, which will require additional expenses from the Manager. At the same time, the Manager will ensure revenues to the state budget in the amount of 85% of the profit received.
Earlier, ARMA held an open tender for the management of this asset. As a result, the winner was the LLC «FINANSOVO-PROMYSLOVA KOMPANIYA «RESURS·HRUP».
According to Ihor Chuloi, Director of the Asset Management Department of the ARMA, the signing of this agreement is an important step towards increasing revenues to the state budget. He reminded that work is underway to select managers for the following lots: 17,799 railcars (which will be grouped by purpose), 2,604 railcars, and 100 railcars.
“We continue to work to ensure that the rest of the cars also find competent managers in the near future, capable of ensuring effective management and profitability at the level of expected results,” said the director of the Asset Management Department.
